The swan Princess A kingdom of music film & soundtrack review

The swan Princess A kingdom of music film & soundtrack review:

I absolutely love how the soundtracks is full of lots of different types of music as many soundtracks seem to stick to the same sort of songs which in a lot of cases can turn out to be very dull. It's also very upbeat modern making it perfect for summer.

Moving onto the film I found it to be very touching as well as humorous. Bringing the parts of the original Swan Princess into the film was very clever, especially with the 25th anniversary on the horizon.

I felt the added element to the dragon curse in between the main story was really clever because it broke the story up from the main plot giving you something else to watch out for.

It was really nice to see Alise talk about her past life because we haven't seen her really open up about that, when she first arrived she didn't speak then suddenly we see her as a confident princess settled within the kingdom.

It was also really lovely to see how grateful she is for the care Odette & Derek have given her.

I felt having Lucas go away then coming back just in time for the festival enabled for a really good dynamic between Lucas & Elise. If Lucas had just stayed in the kingdom it would make less sense whereas having him go away time passes causing Elise to miss him,so it in a way is if she is seeing him for the first time as is the same with Li for they have only just met.
I found Elise's reflections of her previous time with Lucas really well thought out & enjoyably sweet.

Another thing I really loved was seeing all the dynamics with all the characters. Lord Rogers always seemed like a almost father/uncle figure to Lucas so I loved seeing again,I also loved seeing all the jokes between Derek & Odette about breaking the curse.

Moving onto the atual contest me & my sister really enjoyed playing judge along with the acts & giving them marks out of ten then again judging them against the previous acts. We also had a lot of fun laughing at Jean~Bob's harsh judging tactics.

One thing that I found slightly confusing is everyone's ages, I suppose in animation no one really ever does age but with Elise & Lucas ageing it is a bit confusing how no one else ages & also didn't Rogers propose to Uberta in the last film? so are they now together or not?

I hope you enjoyed my review & please check out my First Kingdom of Music lyric video for "Goodbye"
